We both have separate lives, but cosplay is what brings us so close together; without each other we probably wouldn't be involved in this silly, yet creative hobby. Our team is know for our duo costumes that we create using many of our own creative liberties and bling. It's by far our favorite part of making out cosplay!

Made my frame for silk painting today and decided to test out a corner.
This will be the fabric I use for my Eve cosplay from No.6. It’s supposed to look like water… yes? You know since Nezumi wore this while playing Ophelia.
The water glittery looking stuff is salt. XD It’s supposed to help make patterns in the dye. Not really working all too well. There’s four different colored dyes I used and from those I watered them down for gradients.

Pretty much all that’s left to do is make the coat and pirate hat! Tidbits here and there, but I’ll probably put those small bits off until last minute! Right now I’m working on the sash! And I’m not really doing much beading or detailing on this either… Maybe when I have more time I’ll add, but I have too many other costumes to finish and a bajillion things to still set up from the panels and events. Oo
About the only real progress I’ve made is finishing the shirt and jabot. I still would like to add a bit of lace where the jabot connects to the collar, but it’s just some pickiness there. The lace on the shirt and the cuffs were some vintage lace I had stowed away for a while… I only had a bit so I have to mix in other lace on the shirt and cuffs. And I wound up just making the jabot out of the new stuff since I liked the color and design better.
There is some beadwork on the pants and boots you can’t see. I’m pretty sure that’s all the beading I’ll be doing since I’m running out of time. : ( The rest of the costume is just going to rely on the patterns and textures I chose.
I finished the sash today too! I want to add some fringe to the ends, but I’ll have to do that later when I can take a trip to the store and buy some.
Still waiting on my materials for the coat. :/ It took me nearly two months for searching and about 50 fabric swatches purchased to find something I liked for the base…. then I ordered and it’s been over a month. Come to find out the seller didn’t realize I ordered. Now it’s back to waiting for the fabric to arrive from INDIA. Ugh.

I decided to start remaking my Eve cosplay from the beginning again.
This time I’m starting with the cape and sleeves. I wanted a different kind of look for the fabric though from the typical flat effect and I think I’m going to buy this hand-dyed silk chiffon.
It reminds me of the ocean, foreshadowing Ophelia’s death, sorta?
I might hot fix a scant amount of blue crystals on the fabric once it’s sewn up too if I think it needs a bit more dimension. But other than that, I believe that’s the only “bling” I’ll add… I want to leave the dress plain.
